Roadcrew Records part ways with Gruesome Malady

We would like to officially annouce that as of immediate effect, Gruesome Malady is no longer with Roadcrew Records.

Roadcrew Records announced the historic release of the 2x CD reissue Gruesome Malady’s Anthology on Dec 1st 2010. However, there have been innumerable delays in bringing out the CD that lasted almost 5 months. This delay may be attribtued to the label and we hold ourselves responsible for that. In addition to that, the CD eventually came out as a pro-CDR which was against the wishes of the band, despite the band not specifying any details regarding the release at the time of confirming the release. The band has decided that to depart from the label and we whole-heartedly approve of their decision.

Its unfortunate that the Gruesome Malady / Dying Embrace which is one of India’s most respected bands has had to resort to bringing this out to the public’s notice in such a crude manner despite earlier discussions between the band and the label to work it out and end it on a civil note.

Despite everything, Roadcrew Records wishes all the best to Gruesome Malady for the future.

For all those who have bought/ordered the albums, I urge you to wait for the album to get into your hands. If you are satisfied with the release, great. If not, we will offer you a complete refund. Those who haven’t received their CDs to date may send an email to madhav@roadcrewrecords.in
